December 1, 2000 will forever be known as the day the music died at 5 Points Pub.

After a long and protracted legal battle, it has been ordered that the music hall of 5 Points Pub cease operation.  While this date was originally scheduled for December 3rd, it has since been ordered back to December 1st, effectively stopping the final two shows in the music hall.

The beer and billiards operation of 5 Points Pub will continue.
