Since everyone seems to be under the impression that all of North Carolina
is getting pillaged by Isabel, I've set up a WEBCAM
of the front yard. It's wet, windy, and a little noisy, but not
nearly as bad as local TV told us it would be.

Two pieces of television importance.
First off, the F*CKING MORONS at Fox have cancelled yet
another great TV show. The network officially pulled the plug on
"Keen Eddie". For those that haven't seen it, it was a
"New York cop goes to work at Scotland Yard" show that had
absolutely NONE of the typical cliché stuff you'd expect from that kind
of storyline. It was edgy, entertaining, and pee-in-your-pants
funny. Dumbasses.
Secondly, speaking of Fox idiots canceling great shows,
check out LW-BLUE for a never
before aired clip from Family
Guy. Odds are you won't ever see it, unless Spice starts airing Family
Guy episodes. (You'll need the LW-Blue
password to access the clip.)
Just so Fox doesn't feel completely alone... CBS is trying
to scuttle Jag by moving it to Friday at 9pm. That isn't were the
old folks (and me) want to see Jag. TUESDAY AT 8PM!!!!!
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.....

Yet another brush with greatness! (Or an example of what might
have been.)
So I'm hanging out watching Animal Planet and a show
called "K-9 Boot Camp" comes on. Having been a dog handler
earlier in my life, I figured it would be fun to watch, maybe see some
places I've been before, and relive some great memories.
Then who should I see grace the screen as an MWD
Instructor? Ssgt David Dean, United States Army, and a member of my
Patrol Dog class when I attended Lackland! Small world, but I
wouldn't want to paint it.
Being a dog handler was the second best thing I've done in
my life (Being a Daddy is number one). Good times....
